This remarkable collector's item from the Elmwood Mine looks like an organically grown sculpture - a natural work of art that inspires with its shape, color and harmony. Two spherical barite bodies that have grown on top of each other form the central element of this formation. They are accompanied by several perfectly formed fluorite cubes with an intense violet color, which are positioned on the sides like precious details. An ensemble that impresses with both structure and composition - full of calm, tension and elegance.

Balance and movement

The eye is immediately drawn to the two spherical barytes, which look almost like stacked spheres - naturally grown, but with an astonishingly clear shape. Their surface is structured and has a warm, cream-colored tone. The vertical arrangement creates an almost sculptural appearance - like a stylized statue with a clear axis. This double form not only looks harmonious, but also downright architectural - like a minimalist structure made of crystal.

Color, transparency and precision

The fluorite cubes on the side form the perfect contrast. Their color is typical of the Elmwood Mine: deep, vibrant violet, which changes from a rich purple to delicate lavender tones depending on the incidence of light. Their transparency is particularly impressive - when lit directly or from behind, they seem to glow from within. The cubes are geometrically clear, with smooth surfaces, sharp edges and a fascinating inner depth that invites you to linger.

A harmonious ensemble with natural tension

The composition of the piece is absolutely coherent: The calm, gentle character of the baryte is wonderfully complemented by the radiant, almost floating fluorites. While the spherical shapes convey softness and flow, the crystalline cubes bring precision and clarity into play. The interplay appears neither random nor rigid - it has an almost dancing, light quality - and yet remains powerful.

High-quality presentation

The piece is complemented by a precisely fitting base made of transparent acrylic glass, which was manufactured in our in-house production facility. The engraving of the place of discovery is discreetly incorporated and emphasizes the exclusivity without distracting from the aesthetics of the mineral. The base not only ensures stability, but also visually elevates the piece - ideal for a prestigious display case presentation.

Elmwood Mine - classic mineral with collector status

The Elmwood Mine is synonymous with quality, aesthetics and variety. Combinations of barite and fluorite are particularly rare in this form. Globular barites are generally rare, and their combination with intensely colored, transparent fluorite makes this piece truly unique - both mineralogically and visually.

For collectors with a sense of form

This piece is more than just a mineral - it is as graceful as an art object. The balance between form and color, the naturalness of the composition and the high-quality presentation make it a highlight of any collection. For all those who appreciate not only minerals but also strong aesthetics, this specimen is an absolute eye-catcher with a lasting impression.

Notes on the mineral

  • This product is a natural product and should be handled with care.
  • Due to its delicate structure, there is a risk of damage through improper handling.
  • Keep out of the reach of children.
  • Fluorite is very sensitive to light and should therefore be protected from sunlight so that it does not lose its color.

Notes on the base

  • If the base is dusty or dirty, you can clean it with water and a soft cloth (e.g. made of viscose).
  • Please avoid using paper towels as these can cause fine scratches.
  • Special cleaning agents are generally not required.
