Vesuvianite on matrix, Italy

Beautiful green vesuvianite crystals are clearly and brilliantly displayed on the natural matrix from Bellecombe in the Aosta Valley. The well-formed, prismatic crystals have an attractive luster and areas of fine transparency. A classic find from a traditional Alpine locality.
