Intensely red and of rare aesthetics: realgar from the famous Lengenbach zone in the Binntal valley is one of the most sought-after specimens from the Alps. Embedded in the light dolomite matrix, the bright realgar forms a fascinating color contrast. These finds are known worldwide for their quality, but are rare in well-preserved condition.
