This specimen comes from an old German mineral collection.

This aragonite from Domleschg (Graubünden) shows its characteristic grape-like to sculptural growth form. The snow-white color and silky surface give the piece an almost porcelain-like appearance. Such specimens are typical of alpine crevices in Switzerland.
