The Munich Show 2024 is behind us, and we look back on an unforgettable week full of joy and fulfillment. The days were characterized by wonderful encounters, inspiring conversations and a warm exchange with collectors and dealers.
Here is our review of a time that will remain a wonderful memory for a long time to come.
Day 1 & 2
On Tuesday, we started setting up our stand full of anticipation. The empty display cases were already waiting to be filled on Tuesday and we transformed the stand into a small paradise of collector's items over the two days. Even while we were setting up, we got talking to many other dealers and were able to expand our own range with first-class minerals. The world of minerals brings people together - and the anticipation of the coming days was palpable in everyone. It was especially nice to see friends again that we can often only meet at large mineral exhibitions. The conversations were already full of warmth and joyful reunions on these first few days.
Day 3 & 4
Thursday and Friday were dealer days and we were able to meet people from all over the world, including many long-time collectors and mineral enthusiasts. The conversations were inspiring and warm, and new acquaintances were made while old friendships were strengthened. It was particularly nice that some of our collector's items found their way into private collections during these days and delighted new owners with beaming eyes.
A big highlight for me was my very first interview with Young Minerals Collectors. I was very excited, but the conversation was so much fun that it soon disappeared. Matthew's way of conducting the interview was so likeable and engaging that it couldn't have been any other way. It showed me how important the exchange and sharing of passion for minerals is in this community.

Day 5 & 6
At the weekend, the doors opened to the general public and we experienced the diversity and enthusiasm of the mineral world from a completely new perspective. Countless collectors came to our stand and while we were packing up their new treasures for their private collections, many told us exciting stories about their collections and even their own finds.
On Saturday I had the great pleasure of having a cordial and very informative conversation with the editor Michael Huber of the mineral magazine Lapis. Of course, we also stocked up on some special issues on interesting topics, which we always enjoy reading. If you are also interested in certain topics or locations, you are sure to find what you are looking for here:
The relatively young magazine Mineralica is also highly recommended. It is coordinated by incredibly friendly and cordial people and convinces with very interesting and mineralogically valuable articles - for dealers and collectors.
We were particularly pleased that the first-class mineral photographer Matthäus Parshchikov photographed some of our special pieces. It was impressive to experience his passion for minerals and photography and to see how he captures the beauty of each piece in pictures. Not yet familiar with Matthew and his work? Then we definitely recommend that you do:
Farewell and homecoming
On Sunday evening, it was finally time to say goodbye again. The dismantling went smoothly, but the wonderful impressions of this week had and still have a firm grip on us. Tired but overjoyed, we fell into bed late in the evening and looked back on a fulfilling time with a smile.
