This exceptional grossular crystal comes from the famous Los Lamentos deposit in the Mexican state of Chihuahua – a locality traditionally known for its orange to brown garnets. This makes this rare specimen in fresh green, which presents itself as a well-proportioned single crystal, all the more remarkable.
